I love human relations and I could make my own the quote from Térence, translated by Montaigne: “I am a man, and nothing human is foreign to me”. My passion for people combined with that of photography make my encounters with you fascinating. My job is to put you at ease in front of the camera and to bring out what we want to show and value together. My best portrait will be next! And maybe yours!

WHO ARE WE

Studio 1822 was founded by a couple passionate about art, Frédérique and Luc Camberlein, to carry out three complementary activities around photography:

A professional photography studio in Lille , specializing in photographic portraiture. Its clientele is both private (individuals, who come looking for a quality portrait, taken by a professional photographer with a personalized and different touch) and corporate (portraits commissioned by companies, for a website, advertising, reports annuals or a press publication).

A photographic art gallery and publisher of photography portfolios. The gallery specializes in small and medium formats (photographic prints up to approximately 50×70 cm), by authors with an intimate and poetic approach to the world. For now, the Gallery has left the premises it occupied until now in Lille, and is still waiting for a new location. Galerie Studio 1822 can nevertheless set up occasional exhibitions or hangings in ephemeral places, or at the request of institutions or companies.

An art workshop dedicated to photographic art printing and the framing of paintings, drawings, photographs, for companies and demanding individuals looking for an uncompromising approach to quality and finish.
