About me

Hello and welcome to my site.

My whole journey started back in 2004 where at an event, I managed to borrow my dad’s camera for 5 minutes, Needless to say, he didn’t get it back for the whole day! That Christmas I was given a Nikon DSLR as a present and so started a long line of self-taught lessons and experiences.

After a brief foray into the world of motorsport, I decided to set up shop and started putting the word out for work. After a few weddings, I quickly started to gain a passion for working with people it was at this point that Simon Gough Photography was created. Named after my late father as a tribute for getting me into photography and where I am today.

Being a father of two I love any family related photography and get a real buzz when my clients see their photos for the first time.

I’m always looking for new work and love a challenge so if you have any ideas as bizarre as they may be I’d love to hear them.
