I surround myself with the books of great photographers who helped shape the way I see the world. Martin Parr, Bruce Gilden and Diane Arbus to name a few. There has been a camera in my hand for about 30 years. It really is a part of who I am. It’s a strong part of my identity. So much so, that the line between pastime and profession is well and truly blurred. Find something you love to do and never work a day kind of thing.
I’m a lucky man. I’m a husband and father of a beautiful family – my wife Aoife and children Marnie and Miles – not forgetting Doug The Frenchie. I’m a graduate of Dun Laoighre College of Art and Design now known as IADAT.
I’m based in Waterford, Ireland covering both national and international commissions
